Why do we require customers to tighten all electrical contacts after every 200 hours of operation?

Diesel generator sets are vibrating machines. Moreover, many domestically produced or assembled units do not use double nuts or spring washers. Once the electrical fasteners are loose, a large contact resistance will be generated, causing the unit to operate abnormally.
